Project Overview/ Project Work:

GWC has been partnered with Non Profit and Non Governmental organization in the city of Durres to help the individual with social and economic problems, especially the elderly ones who do not have place to live and spend their free time. Our local partner organization/community center has given place to elders and other categories in need (like middle age or youth) to come and get their dinner or lunch for free. While the others who do not have any place to live can even stay at the center.

Considering the fact that in this center the number of staff is limited and many services are completed from one person only. This is the reason why they need help from kindhearted people like you. Give them your helping hand and get reward.

While working in this project, you will be involved in the following activities like:

  • Cleaning the center
  • Cooking for the benefiters
  • Organizing entertaining activities for the elders
  • Assisting the elders or other benefiters in accomplishing their daily activities
  • Taking them on picnics with the intention of their integration in the environment
  • Organizing other activities despite the planned in the programme.
  • Besides this, volunteers are welcome to bring their different experiences which they can put in action with the elders
