Whether family, honeymooners, businessmen, adventure seekers or individual travelers, India has lot to offer its visitors. The beautiful and charming hill stations, enigmatic historical forts, palaces (in Jaipur) and monuments including The Taj (Monument of Love) in Agra, captivating back water spots with house boats, the mighty Himalayas and the serene and at times intimidating oceans will make your time spent in India the most memorable and cherished moments of your life. The diverse culture, traditions, spiritual richness and the absolute blend of traditions and modernization makes it even more popular among youngsters seeking adventure and fun.
On the other side of happy picture is a true story of suffering mankind. You will witness people suffering with HIV/AIDS, abandoned street children, hard working and suffering women, lack of health care facilities, lack of education and awareness. Through various result oriented projects of GWC you will get exposed to the various problems the local community faces, something you could have never even imagined before. GWC believes in the power of young kind hearted volunteers coming from different ethnic and cultural back ground that will help the community grow by putting in their expertise and skills which will be sustainable in nature. This will be a very good learning and morally fulfilling experience for the volunteers who will get to make friends with other co participants with whom they will get to share ideas and views. GWC will assist volunteers take a break from the humble work and explore the beauty that this country has to offer. Special Note: Please note that if in case, your project is overbooked, or if we don’t have any spare or extra space in a particular workcamp project in which you are interested. You can make a request before the workcamp project starts, GWC will contact to our In-country coordinator to find a solution and try to make adjustments in order to give you a space in that very project, however, GWC will charge extra fees for this kind of arrangement
