The project is located at the institute of Educational Eco-park, San José; the aim is to protect, conserve, and exhibit the flora and fauna from the region Los Altos de Chiapas. GWC volunteers will be involved in different construction and environmental related activities. Volunteers will be involved in work on improving the infrastructure of the Park, focus on trail maintenance (fix the steps, access to the park, weeding, etc). Volunteers will also help with placement of informational sign boards in the playground, dining rooms, park offices, restrooms etc. Volunteers will also help building a plant nursery, this will help the local people to conserve and have a protection placed for these plants. Other activities would include renovation, painting and maintenance of some of the park facilities. Your help and support will preserve and protect this green park from the global warming and deforestation etc. Join our hands and enjoy your time in Mexico with various wild animals while you explore green pastures.
